A Memo

Memorandum
Home of the Michael Jared Frisby Family

March 27, 2009

To: Everyone

From: Jenni & Jared Frisby

Subject: The public dissemination of information regarding plans to expand the Michael Jared Frisby Family

Due to the excessive number of inquiries we have been receiving in regards to possible plans for expanding our family, it has become necessary for us to make a public statement regarding this family's position on the public dissemination of information regarding such plans. Therefore, we are taking the following position: until this family deems it appropriate to make such information public, we will be maintaining a policy of absolute silence on the matter of expanding our family. We will not respond to any inquiries, suggestions, comments, or other communication regarding the expansion of our family and, therefore, encourage any who might be inclined to make such communication to save their energies for more productive activities.

Should you have any questions regarding this family's position on the matter, please keep them to yourself as we will not respond to them.

Jenni R. Frisby

haha- awesome. It's so true. Everyone asks, "when are you going to have kids?" or something along those lines. Maybe every time someone asks that question we get to ask them something personal too, like "when do you plan on getting out of debt?"

Seriously why haven't I ever thought of writing this? Although at this point most people don't ask because they assume it's a reproductive problem. Or they assume we don't want any. Or they just don't give a hoot. Or they assume that I'm focusing on my career. Or they just don't give a hoot.

I must say in the defense of the people who have asked you (though, I have not been one of them, whether I have wondered or not) that YOU did announce that you were baby hungry on this blog. So, in all fairness, you started it:).

Well Kim does have a point. But yes, Mormons, conservative though we may be are the WORST about asking about your reproductive plans, or really any other plans. Everyone means well.

As long as you're getting bugged and not me, I'm happy. In fact, take your time, because once you "give in to the pressure" it's our turn to get bugged.

Loved the memo.

My mom, after she reads this, is going to write a crazy comment. I know it.

Like I said before, your eggs are getting old.

You know, people really don't ask us much. I feel for people who get asked a lot. I think you should respond by saying, "Well, we just haven't figured out how to have sex yet" and wait for the awkward silence. Hahaha.

Hilarious!

I don't remember getting the question a lot, and Zoie wasn't born until we'd been married just over three years. Perhaps I've blocked the memories though.

Better read Sharon's comment & really think about it, & yes you did start it with the baby hungry comment:) Once again I love Sharon!

If you think the silence is going to stop me think again:) Never worked before, will not work now!!!!!

I ditto Dalene. Well said, I back you up 100% (both Dalene's words as well as the Frisby's memo).

Hey if you don't hurry up people won't say"Hummm did they have to get married?"

Jenni, I'm totally on your side with this one. It's like when everyone asks me when I'm going to get married. I kinda want to tell them where to go. Maybe next time I will...

I love the memo, that's awesome! Don't you love the constant personal questions! "When are you going to get married?" was always one of my favorites.

My bad Jenni-- I didn't know I was breaking the nondisclosure agreement.
