Gary & Leah

Gary and Leah are my parents. They are currently serving a mission in the Nauvoo Temple. They have been gone for about 9 months now and we miss them. They were able to come home in November for a short visit while the temple was closed for cleaning. While home, they played Wii with us. On the Wii, you can create your own character that looks just like you. It's called a Mii. So, Gary and Leah created their own Miis to play with on our Wii. Now they are back in Nauvoo, but their legacy lives on through their Miis. Whenever we play a game on the Wii with which we can use our Miis, the other Miis always show up to fill in other roles. I always get excited when I see Gary and Leah's Miis in the game because it makes me feel like they are right here! I got Jared Wii Music for Christmas and while playing a game where I was conducting an orchestra, I saw my parents Miis playing different instruments. I exclaimed, "Look, my mom is playing the piano and my dad is playing the violin!" I think Jared thinks I'm funny, but I really get so excited when I see their Miis. The Wii - always bringing people together!

Me conducting the orchestra

Look! There's my mom at the piano and my dad playing the violin with his green hat on!

Jenni,
I made my mom a Mii this morning so that she could do boxing. She got almost 600 (1000 being pro). She is so good at it. She beat this guy (computer) who was about 700.

Love the green hat. Rarely see him without it in freezing California.

Only inside the Wii would Mom be able to play Schroeder's piano.
