I learned to do a blind hem. I imagine this will be quite useful in the future, but it's a little tricky and quite nerve-wracking. Fortunately, it turned out okay.

Scout supervised the process, lending her extensive expertise when needed

Sewing on the buttons. This was the last step and I was really excited to get them on, put the curtains up, and be done with it.

The finished product. Really, I think it turned out super cute, if I do say so myself. And look, you can get an idea of the wall color.

And a close-up so you can admire the adorableness.

Adorable curtains. Yay for sewing!!
So cute! You did a great job.
Seriously super cute. I love the colors and my favorite is the buttons!!! How lame am I that I just keep asking my mom to do projects for me! :-)
Proud of you Jenni. You did a great job. They are adorabable
Super cute curtains. Maddie just asked me if Grandma made them. In her experience, any handmade item is done by Grandma. But in my defense, I did do a zigzag stitch to mend my white snowpants. And I sewed Sam's scout badges on his shirt. Of course I told him he would have to settle for white cuz I don't know how to change the thread. Once the bobbin runs out, my sewing days are over.
Those curtains are so adorable!!! Love the pink & green! Ryan is better with the sewing machine than I am. In fact, I am willing to bet your dog is more likely to complete a sewing project than me.
DARLING!!!!!
That is a very cute vallance you made! I love it.
Loving the nursery! If you want something done right, do it yourself!
