oh, that sucks. moxie did that one time. we started using goo-gone, then ended up basically shaving all the hair off of her paw. it's almost impossible to get out!
also, i've been meaning to send this link to you. these are great! moxie and marceau love them. you don't have to worry about choking your dog, and they don't rub their skin like the ones at pet smart (which we figured out quickly after buying one there). they're made by puppia. i could only find them online. anyway, i highly recommend them.
